Not salt tolerant of inundation by salty or brackish water.



Low/no tolerance of salty wind or direct salt spray

Considertions

Self-seeds and so could become weedy.

Habitat

Moist to wet flatwoods, marl prairies, sandhill, scrub, and disturbed areas. Common on moist, open roadsides.
