Screen plant esp. for sunny, dry sites. Specimen plant where its shiny foliage will be appreciated.

Not salt tolerant of inundation by salty or brackish water.



Low/no tolerance of salty wind or direct salt spray

Slow growing.

Larger birds and small mammals eat the fruit.

Dry sites. Scrub, scrubby sandhill.
